Living in a Staged Apartment

Living in a property that has been properly staged is easy!

Many sellers worry about keeping their apartment show ready while they are still living there. But, if the property is well organized it is pretty simple! We advise sellers to think of this process as your first step in moving out. Box up and store everything you do not plan to use while your property is on the market. Donate or throw away the small things which you do not plan to take with you including; old books, magazines, broken odds and ends. Find a storage solution for excess baby/child accessories and toys. Keep larger key functional pieces so that you continue to live in comfort.

We will work with you to create a market ready look by re-organizing shelves, closets and drawers, boxing items for storage and re-distributing furnishings. In some cases we bring in lamps, mirrors, pillows and small accessories to complete the transformation. We can do as much or as little as you want and often work on an hourly or day rate.  The net result is a property that you can live in that will show well.

Below you will see 2 properties that were staged while families with children were living there. Had we taken before photos you would see the dramatic transformation!
